Literature Circle Reflection

My overall impression of the Literature Circles was really good. I like getting into groups with some people I don’t know and it lets me get to know more about them.

My favourite task was discussion director because I think it was fun asking questions to my group.

The challenge I had was writing because I don’t like writing but it was still fun because I got it done.

The progress I saw in the conversations over time was that people got to know each other better because it made people more comfortable.

The RISE values I showed the most was resilience because I bounce back when things get hard.

From the Literature Circle tasks, I learn how  to retell stories in my own words.

From holding the Literature Circle conversations, I learnt that it was better doing our own jobs because it got done quicker.😄

Speed Safety

Today, Jan came to discuss what it meant to be a road user and your responsibilities. We worked in teams of three. My team was Mahalia and Vincent. My team and I discovered that when we walked, we did not get very far from the line, but when we went jogging, we were a little bit away. Then it happened: I ran, and I got so far away from the line that I got lots of numbers for the centimetres. I loved doing this with my team. I learnt that the faster you ran, the longer it took to stop. Cars are the same. The quicker they go, the longer it takes to stop.
